Meet Jen Espada Domingo

Hi! I’m Jen, the Long Island Bridal Attendant and
The Bustle Pro. My love language? All things weddings, Disney, and Taylor Swift.

Even though I was born and raised on Long Island, I never got to experience all the beauty our little island has to offer. That was, until 2018, when I got a job as a Bridal Attendant in the Hamptons.

I can pinpoint that as the exact moment in my life that I completely fell in love with weddings. I quickly realized that was exactly where I was meant to be . I loved getting to work as part of a team with so many amazing people who were just as dedicated as I was to making it the most perfect day for our couples.

The best feeling however, came at the end of the night, when my bride would come to me, give me a hug, and thank me for making her day so special. Those are the moments I live for. Getting the chance to be such a big part of my couples’ special day is a feeling like no other.

After my second season, I realized there is so much more I could offer my brides, and Long Island Bridal Attendant was born. My goal is to offer bridal attending services that overlap with wedding coordination, while giving brides the option of service for their entire day, not just at the venue.

Favorite Taylor Swift Era?

Although my all-time favorite song is All Too Well, the 10-minute version, of course, my favorite era has to be Speak Now. This album was the soundtrack of my college years and also came out right after my now husband and I started dating. It’s filled with whimsical love stories, relatable stories of heartbreak, how to deal with people who are not so nice to you, knowing when to forgive and when to speak your truth, and lastly to always be aware of the magic as its happening and take mental snapshots of those moments to revisit later.

Biggest Wedding Day Advice?

This sounds cliche but my biggest wedding day advice is to hire a coordinator or planner. It doesn't have to be me, but please do it. Do your research and read reviews first, of course. But if you hire a good one, your day will go so much more smoothly, you will be less stressed, you will have someone there to confidently guide you through the day, you will eat, you’ll have someone to make sure all your important items are packed away safely, someone to give you pep talks when needed, and to offer their expertise on things that come up on the wedding day and even during the planning process.
The Disney movie that best describes me is...

Moana. Besides the fact that my 3 year old niece says “Jen” everytime she sees her on the screen because we look so similar, I relate to her more than any other Disney character. I am incredibly persistent, bold, brave, adventurous, always intentionally trying to prove myself, and truly believe I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.
When I'm Not Wedding Planning, I'm....

Hanging out with my husband watching the latest binge-worthy tv - Recent favs are Ted Lasso, The Last of Us and Game of Thrones House of the Dragon. I also love creative writing, being out in nature, traveling, photography, reading books on self and business growth, and finding new hobbies. I also love hanging out with friends.
